Mark Wellman's Golf Challenge is a community event that brings athletes with disabilities, celebrities, Olympians, and businesses together for an enriching evening and challenging golf tournament.

This two-day event will begin Thursday with a ‘Meet the Celebrities’ evening at Coyote Moon, home of the Brad Bell signature golf course, where a celebrity will be matched with each team. This celebration, open to the public, will include an educational forum, silent auction, Charbay Martini Bar, live music and delectable appetizers. The Golf Tournament will be Friday morning with a 10:00AM shotgun start at the Tahoe Donner Golf Course, where an awards party and banquet at ‘The Lodge’ will follow.

The third annual fundraiser will support the programs of Disabled Sports USA, part of a national non-profit organization, who is dedicated to providing affordable, inclusive physical and recreational activities that build health and confidence. Mark Wellman’s climbing methods and sports gear adaptation, which brought him to achieve his historic ascents of El Capitan and Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, are becoming increasingly recognized and used in programs and classes throughout the country. Through No Limits, Mark now dedicates his time to improve the quality of life for adults and children with disabilities, including our injured American war veterans. The inspiration and encouragement he provides through educational presentations and adaptive sports seminars, assists in building the skills, enthusiasm and self-esteem it takes to enhance the quality of life as a community member, becoming more involved in the workplace and at home.
