Mark and Mike have successfully made it to Camp 6 tonight at 6:30. Mike has already set up the rope for tomorrow's first pitch, leaving four more to the summit. Camp 6 is a ledge angled into the mountain in somewhat of a cave type of setting.

If one were viewing from the valley floor, the climbers would most likely not be visible. This of course has made for some delayed communication via cell phones. Mark's message is, "We are ready for tomorrow's big push and are hoping to make the summit of El Capitan by late tomorrow."
